“”Success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one’s personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself, or as the by-product of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself.”

Viktor E. Frankl

Everything good ain’t cheap, and everything cheap ain’t good’ What do I mean?   Friends and family were happy to help, but the real guidance and resources I needed weren’t free.  From the CPA that filed the 501(c)3 documents to the person who wrote start-up grants for the organization.  None of them were free.  Guess what?  These professionals were worth every penny!

  • Often ‘the way through’ means all the work doesn’t rest with you.  Having the right team ‘working in their gift’ and supporting players (consultants, donors, etc.) can make or break an organization.  The best way out of a situation often isn’t to go it alone.
